LOS PINOS RANCH
Guerrero, Coahuila

2,040 +/- Acres   |   $820,000

Brochure

Los Pinos is located just a few minutes from the town of Guerrero, Coahuila and is easily accessible via the Guerrero - Santa Monica highway. The property is low fenced, and borders a high fenced ranch for 2 miles on the Eastern side. There have been some giant deer killed here, one of them grossing 206" back in the 70's. The ranch does need some work, but the most important thing is the location and vegetation, which is prime whitetail country.

LOCATION

Los Pinos is located just a few minutes from the town of Guerrero, Coahuila and is easily accessible via the Guerrero - Santa Monica highway. Approximately a one hour drive from the city of Piedras Negras. It is also accessible from the town of Nava. This location is known to produce some very good whitetails.

PROPERTY

The ranch has 3 windmills that pump water year round. Roads are very accessible. The houses need some work but are habitable. It has a small storage room as well. There are plenty of deer and some very big ones have been killed throughout the years. Not a lot has been done to it in recent years, so it's an interesting ranch to invest in and make it the best it can be. The ranch looks like it has been overgrazed for some years, so it will take time for the grass to recover. Los Pinos is low fenced, but borders a high fenced ranch for 2 miles on the Eastern side. It has an American neighbor to the west.

HUNTING

There are some stands and feeders distributed throughout the property. Back in the 70's (the days with no protein or feed of any kind), there was a 206" giant harvested on the property. There have been several very good deer taken off it since. Two of those bucks were featured in the book "Venados Mexicanos". So needless to say, with the right management, this property could produce some booners.

WATER

There are three windmills that pump water year round. No ponds, lakes or water troughs. This would be an important area of improvement for the new owners. Looking for more water by digging wells and making some small ponds are very viable options.
